Once your contract is signed, onboarding moves quickly. Here is a plain-language look at what comes next, in roughly the order you can expect it. Knowing the sequence ahead of time makes the process smoother and helps you avoid delays.

The onboarding steps, in order

In the days after you sign, you will hear from us and from a few outside systems. Each step has a purpose, and completing them promptly keeps your start date on track.

  1. Credentialing requestYou will receive a separate email listing the credentialing documents we need. Review it and return everything promptly so we can begin without delay. See the Credentialing Documents resource for the full list and how to prepare.
  2. Valor resource accessYou will get access to the Valor Health Group Toolbox, our digital training and reference guide. It covers exam tips, procedural overviews, and the operational guidelines you will use day to day.
  3. Payment setupWe set you up in our contractor payment system, and you will get an activation link directly from that system by email. Complete the setup right away so there are no delays in getting paid.
  4. Agency correspondenceAs we submit your information to our partner agencies, you will start receiving emails from them about training, portals, and any additional credentialing they require.

How to keep things moving

  • Watch your inbox closely, including your spam or junk folder, since system emails sometimes land there.
  • Return credentialing documents as soon as you can. Scheduling depends on completed credentialing.
  • Finish payment setup early so your first payment is not held up.
  • Save kerri@valor-healthgroup.com as a contact so our messages reach your inbox.
How long does onboarding take?

It depends mostly on how quickly credentialing documents come back. The faster you return them, the sooner we can get you scheduled.

Who do I contact if I get stuck?

Reach out to Kerri at kerri@valor-healthgroup.com at any point. We are here to help at every step.

Why am I getting emails from other organizations?

Those are our partner agencies handling training, portals, and their own credentialing steps. It is a normal part of the process. Just remember to copy Kerri on those threads.
